Introduction to Omics

Introduction to Omics explores the fundamentals of genomics and proteomics relating to medical research and drug discover. Students explore the historical development of Omics technologies and the application to modern omics. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply their knowledge of translational medicine to better prepare themselves to take on the challenges that will present themselves in the use of omics to develop various therapeutics.
