Intermediate Lighting Design
Description
This course is a studio base structure where students will develop an architectural lighting design that addresses the lighting design process. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive, practical solutions to design, budget, energy and systems integration. Further review and integration of lighting which are more challenging to quantify, such as colour, form, space, plane, rhythm, balance, and texture will build the students knowledge as it is applied to their projects. Students will get access to industry professionals to discuss the lighting design process and gain a better insight to this multifaceted industry.
