Intermediate Financial Accounting: Part A
Description
This course will cover in more depth the Introduction to Accounting previously studied by the students. The emphasis is on accounting theory, concepts and the analysis of special problems that arise in applying the underlying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and concepts to financial accounting. Part A will include all Financial Statements, Revenue Recognition and various Asset specific topics. Note: Students must be able to apply present-value concepts throughout the course.
Prerequisites: (WRIT 100 OR ESOL 100) & ACCT 151 & BMTH 120
