Instructional Methods & Teaching Strategies
Description
The ultimate goal of teaching and learning is for students to be able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in the classroom to new contexts. For many students it will be the support of an educational assistant (EA) that enables them to meet this goal. Building on previous coursework that examined curriculum instructional approaches and the lesson itself this theory course moves into specific teaching methods strategies and approaches that are essential for ensuring student success in relation to the learning goals. Special attention is paid to identifying the factors that make each learner unique.
