Information Design

In this course, students will transform complex data into simple to understand visual representations, including tables, charts, graphs, technical illustrations, and infographics. The course will teach students to collaborate effectively with graphic designers and technical illustrators. Students will gain experience using various tools including Microsoft Visio, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, and CAD. The course will focus on the use of information design to enhance documentation usability and clarity, while touching on typography and graphic design.
