Description
This course critically examines respectful and responsible social research with Indigenous communities. It addresses research protocols and the decolonization of social work research methodologies through an exploration of traditional knowledge, worldviews, and epistemologies. Western-based methodological approaches are covered with a focus on the development of relevant best practices.
