Home Inspection for Exteriors

Description

Offered in partnership with Carson Dunlop, our Home Inspection for Exteriors course explores the many exterior components involved in a home inspection, including architectural styles, cladding, structural elements, and surface water control and landscaping. Learn about topics such as retaining walls; grounds; window wells; lot grading; driveways; patios; walkways; decks; balconies; stoops and steps; porches; railings; flashing trim; eaves; soffits; fascia; and exterior doors and windows. Course Accreditation: This course is recognized by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) as an accredited home inspection course and meets part of the requirements for becoming a registered home inspector (RHI). RHI designation requirements are set by the OAHI, not George Brown College. To pursue the RHI designation, you must follow the process listed on the OAHI website and meet the requirements applicable to you.
