Hemodynamic Monitoring of the Critically Ill Patient
Description
This course examines comprehensive nursing care of the high-risk, critically ill patient. Topics of emphasis will include hemodynamic monitoring and waveform analysis, the hemodynamically compromised patient, treatment modalities and evaluation of the shock syndromes. Opportunity will be provided to critically analyze complex case studies. A review of current literature in critical care will assist students with integrating theory into practice.
