Health Assessment

(This course qualifies for transfer credit towards a nursing degree at Ryerson Polytechnical University.) In this course, students will develop knowledge and skills for the comprehensive health assessment of clients in all health care settings. Topics emphasized will include communication techniques, assessment, history taking techniques and systematic physical examination with a review of normal and a focus on the abnormal clinical findings. Learning opportunities will include on line learning, discussion, demonstration and practice of skills in a laboratory setting.
