Fundamentals of Microbiology

Introduction to the biology of bacterial and archaeal organisms. Topics include cell structure and function, methods of cultivation, genetics, phylogeny and taxonomy, and metabolic and genetic diversity. [Note: BIOL 240L must be completed before taking BIOL 241.
