Fundamentals in Lighting
Description
This course has been developed to give a useful synopsis of basic lighting principles. Understanding the quality of light through the investigation of best design practices and manufacturing techniques of illumination engineering and science available. Some of the areas include colour and colorimetry, energy efficiencies, glare control, photometry, units of lighting measurement and calculations. Students gain a fundamental knowledge of technical information sufficient to understand essentials of lighting design.
