Fire Safety Basics I
Description
This course covers the basics of fire science based on its chemical and physical properties. Topics include an introduction to fire codes and standards, properties of and protection from hazardous and combustible materials, life safety, containment and compartmentation as related to building construction and extinguishing methods, limitations and effects on various combustibles.
