Description
This course will examine how culture forms education and schooling and how it is being presented in popular culture. Novels, poetry, songs, television, film, the Internet, and newspapers are all possible areas for critical exploration to examine topics such as a teacher, student, administration, support staff, parents, the community, architecture, and so on and how they are represented in popular culture. Part of this course will look at what role these media play within a curriculum.
