Editorial Design
Description
Editorial Design builds on skills in problem solving and image and text design development acquired through studies in the first semester.
Through analysis of existing publications, students learn to find creative solutions to design problems. They research the current market and examine the structure of publication design in a historical and social/cultural context.
Projects include magazine and publication design.
Students work individually and in teams. Content is delivered through lectures, in-class exercises, assignments, discussions and critiques. Project presentation includes visual, verbal and written components.
