Diversity and Indigenous Peoples

Description

Students will critically identify and examine issues in diversity, including but not limited to: race, gender, ethnicity, class and sexual orientation. This course will also increase knowledge and awareness of important issues in the Aboriginal cultures of Canada. The legal status of Aboriginal people will be explored along with the Aboriginal rights and self determination.
