Development for Designers
Description
Today's web and interactive designers must have a close relationship with developers, and to some extent, a designer needs a general knowledge of development to create practical and workable interactive designs that will function within specific frameworks. This course will provide a general overview of development as it pertains to different aspects of interactive experiences. Also addressed will be the often-fluctuating grey area of where design ends and where development begins. Students will learn about the different development and "back ends", exploring them through a series of practical design projects that are workable to a degree that is reasonably expected from a designer.
