Development Economics for Construction Projects
Description
This course identifies economic factors that significantly influence construction projects - introducing learners to the application of various economic analysis techniques such as project feasibility studies, lifecycle cost analysis, estimating, and cost planning and cost control techniques that will facilitate making sound construction economic decisions. Students will be able to explain the application of microeconomics concepts to project decisions. This course will be case study driven to demonstrate the principles discussed in the classroom. Note: This course is eligible for 42 professional development units (PDUs) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). This course has been accepted for accreditation for seven special industry course (SIC) credits by the Gold Seal Accreditation Board.
