Data Analytics and Storytelling

This course enables students to master the concepts of storytelling based on analyzed data while working in a collaborative setting that enhances their ability to learn and work. Students explore storytelling techniques, narrative theories, and performance techniques and develop data driven stories in a setting that mimics real-life scenarios and challenges that are common in the field of clinical bioinformatics. Students demonstrate competency in data storytelling through analysis of data, creating impactful data visualizations, data supported decision-making, creation of impactful communications.
