Criminal Code

This course is designed to familiarize you with the Criminal Code and analyze selected criminal offences. These offences include offences against the person, against property and against public order. You will become familiar with case law and assess its impact on criminal offences and use case law to argue and defend decisions affecting criminal investigations. You will become familiar with most common criminal offences that police officers are faced with on a regular basis and be capable of initiating proper investigative steps to solve criminal offences within our Criminal Justice system. TEXTBOOK REQUIRED. 45 hours.
