Corporate, Wills and Estates

This "hands-on" course is designed to provide students with the background knowledge and the skills necessary to produce legal documents and correspondence relating to the incorporation and ongoing administration of an Ontario corporation, and the preparation of documents and correspondence relating to wills and estates practice and the steps involved in the probate and administration of estates. Students will also become familiar with Fast Company and Estate-a-Base software and its use for the preparation of corporate and estate documentation. Emphasis will also be placed on proofreading, critical thinking skills and the proper use of legal precedents.
