Computerized Accounting Processes

Complete computerized accounting cycles for a variety of organizations using SAGE, Simply Accounting. Exposure to components in this accounting suite include: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Inventory. Functionality related to System Set-up, Sales Taxes, Banking, Periodic Processing and Financial Reporting are also explored. Apply computerized accounting techniques to each step of the accounting cycle. 

Note: It is mandatory for students to bring a laptop to class. The software for this course is not compatible with Apple products.

Prerequisite: ACCG70016 Financial Accounting 1
