Communication for Pharmacy Assistants
Description
Our Communication for Pharmacy Assistants course provides the basic communication skills you need to be able to interact effectively with members of the pharmacy team as well as other health professionals, patients and the public. The emphasis is placed on the communication process, barriers to effective communication, therapeutic behaviours with diverse clients and the impact of communication technologies on customer care. Best practices, current research and case scenarios form the foundations for learning. (44 hours)
GRADE REQUIREMENTS: The passing grade for this course is 60% (C-).
Prerequisites: You must have completed our PHAR 9014 Pharmacy Foundations and Law (Online) course.

Recommendations: You will have the most success in this course if you already have a diploma/degree or other training in a health-related field.
