Clinical Project Management
Description
This course has been designed to introduce students to the principles and practice of Project Management as an increasingly common approach to structuring work in various clinical research settings. This course will focus on equipping students with basic project management skills to be applied to the management of clinical trials. Students will learn how to develop project plans, timelines, and budget as well as how to be an effective team member. The course will emphasize the skills, attitudes, and values necessary to be a contributor in the workplace of pharmaceutical, biotechnology companies, hospitals, and Contract Research Organizations. Overall, the students will learn to employ the coordination and management of clinical trials that are in compliance with set protocols and overall clinical objectives.
