Clinical Infection

Clinical infection explores the chain of infection and hierarchy of controls pertaining to the prevention and control of disease transmission. This course examines the mechanisms through with an infection prevention and control practitioner can collaborate to reduce the risk of exposure and transmission of infections and diseases. Through the use of Routine Practices in industry settings, students will apply this knowledge to explore when and which additional precautions are needed.
