Clinical Field Placement
Description
Students are provided with the opportunity to acquire clinical experience in a setting that provides Mental Health and/or Addiction services. Students function as a member of the care team delivering components of the treatment plans to identified clients. Students develop awareness of environmental issues that affect recovery process as they begin to consolidate discipline-specific competencies. Students are required to document, reflect and evaluate their professional development in the clinical settings as a component of this course.
