Child Development: 6 to 12 Years

This course will explore the development of school-age children ages 6-12, and will identify guidelines for implementing developmentally appropriate practices in programs for school-age children. Observation, play-based curriculum and pedagogical documentation will be explored to provide the student's skills to implement an interesting, engaging and developmentally appropriate school-age program.
