Cardiology Nursing - Level 2
Description
This course is designed to provide the nurse with the comprehensive knowledge and skill required for accurate analysis of the 12 Lead ECG to guide effective nursing and inter-professional care for clients experiencing disorders from the spectrum of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), as well as common imitators of Myocardial Infarction. National guidelines that direct emergency management, percutaneous cardiac interventions, and cardiac pharmacology for ACS disorders are examined. To successfully meet all course learning objectives, students will be required to engage in both independent and collaborative group learning activities on a consistent basis.
