Business - Experiential Learning

Students will experience the Canadian work environment and apply skills they learned in the program’s first two semesters. Both online and in-person students will be assigned to an external host organization to complete a placement engagement, taking work instruction and task direction from their employer. With various jobs now being completed remotely, online students will have an enriched learning experience participating in company meetings and interacting via video conferencing and business communication platforms. A faculty member will monitor students throughout the work term. Placement sharing experiences will be facilitated in a safe and encouraging environment that helps students structure a portfolio — an important summative document of the learning.
