Business and the Organizational Context

Description

This is a Flexible section where students have the choice to learn remotely or on campus. Each class is live-streamed from the classroom by the professor.This course introduces students to the business of asset management. Students scan the economic, legal, and social systems that support small, medium, and large organizations across key sectors. Students build the skills necessary to identify critical trends, adapt to change, and manage the risks involved in managing and growing an organization. The roles and responsibilities of managers, from start-ups to transnational organizations, are examined across each form of ownership and within public and private enterprises. Students identify the key stakeholders involved in these endeavors and review the important role they play in the global economy.
