Blueprint Reading (All Streams)
Description
The blueprint-reading course will include the principles of mechanical drafting (i.e., scales, line work, dimensioning, orthographic projections, auxiliary views, and cross sections) the review and study of industrial blueprints, including the revision process and documentation. Throughout this course, the learner will be able to recognize and use dimensions, symbols and call-outs used in the drafting practice. Drawings will concentrate on manufacturing, machining, mechanical, civil/architectural services, and process technologies.
