BES: Controls

The Intelligent and Integrated Building Control Systems course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate building control systems in a safe, energy-efficient, and environmentally conscious manner. Studies in this subject cover the key concepts of commercial building HVAC controls and the technical side of intelligent buildings and their technologies. An emphasis is placed on automation and smart technologies. The student explores through research the complex elements, latest thinking, and developments of these technologies.
