Applied Research Methods in Gerontology II
Description
The focus of this course is to enable students to understand the basis of knowledge creation through research. Students will learn to unpack concepts to reveal relevant variables and their relevant measures. Students will learn the rationale of the research process and the consistency in steps undertaken by researchers in quantitative and qualitative research in addition to being exposed to both theories and methods. Students will learn the basis and the significance of statistical and thematic analyses in quantitative and qualitative research respectively.
