Alternative Project Delivery Methods

This course provides students with an introduction to different alternatives for project delivery methods. Key topics covered will include "Design-Bid-Build", "Design-Build", "Construction Management for Services Only", "Construction Management at Risk" and "Public-Private Partnerships". Other topics explored include "Job-Order Contracting" and "Design-Build with Bridging", as well as Integrated Design and Sustainability. Course learning is achieved through the review of real contracts and actual case studies, participation in group competition, and preparation of realistic project delivery proposals.
