Advanced Management Accounting
Description
This advanced course focuses on the application of cost management principles towards corporate decisions. It covers the design and implementation of effective Planning & Control Systems that link both short and long-term goals and objectives. The primary thrust of this course is effective controllership – Corporate Governance - through Planning and Controls, Financial Leadership and Decision-making. This course introduces the concepts behind the “Current Best Practices” in the application of Pricing, Transfer Pricing, Capital Expenditure Decisions, Decentralization and Design and Implementation of Planning and Control Systems, both in profit and non-profit organizations and uses corporate-wide tools such as Balanced Scorecard in aligning strategy, operations and performance.
