Advanced Functions
Description
Topics studied in this course include a detailed study of the following families of functions: polynomial functions, rational functions, trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic functions. Rates of change are also introduced. Prerequisite: one grade 12 mathematics. For prerequisite purposes, MATH 1911 is equivalent to MHF4U. Not available to students with 60% or more in MHF4U (or equivalent) or those registered in degree programs in Mathematics and Computer Science (except with department approval). (3 cr)
