Advanced Academic Writing
Description
This course develops awareness and skill in achieving clarity, coherence, and precision in writing academic essays. Students will employ critical thinking techniques while reading and analyzing a variety of essay styles. They will plan, outline, and write various styles of academic essays. Students will apply the skills of revision, editing, and proofreading to academic essays.
Prerequisites: Essential Communication Skills (COMM11000) OR Communication (COMMLL041) OR Communication D (COMM11040)
