Accounting Concepts II
Description
Students are introduced to and explore the background, goals, and methods of managerial accounting and its role in business planning, control, and decision-making. Key workplace skills involve the ability to plan direct control and to evaluate and extrapolate key accounting data. Topics covered include product costing, cost behaviour, cost-volume-profit analysis, profit planning, differential analysis, and budgeting. The curriculum is delivered in lecture and hands-on problem-solving formats.
